Wrapping up its 7th successful season, with over 150 episodes to date, ABC’s Shark Tank is one of the most prolific entrepreneurial-minded TV shows on the air. Week after week, a solid contingent of tried and true entrepreneurs and a myriad of aspiring wantrepreneurs have pitched their products to a room of investors and 7 million at home viewers.
In honor of the end of the 7th season, we present 7 of the best Shark Tank pitched that ever aired –
1. Season 3, Episode 2: Cat Doodles |

Yep. Cat Doodles. Enterprising innovator Steve Gadlin draws cat pictures. For 10 bucks. In a surprising twist, Mark Cuban pitches in $25,000 for a 33% stake in Gadlin’s I Want to Draw A Cat For You. To date, he’s drawn over 20,000 cats for collectors the world over. |
2. Season 6, Episode 27: Zero Pollution Motors |

Zero Pollution Motors founder Ethan Tucker of Brattleboro, VT and singer, composer Pat Boone appeared on “The Tank” securing a $5 million investment from Robert Herjavec for their zero pollution AIRPod — a car that runs on compressed air. |
3. Season 3, Episode 11: The Sullivan Generator |

In one of the odder pitches to ever air, inventor Mark Sullivan requested a $1 million investment from the sharks for a specialized device to create synthetic hurricanes and capture gold as a byproduct. He then proceeded to tell the sharks of his hobby work in sewing and music composition. Needless to say, all were out on this hot offer. |
4. Season 1, Episode 1: Ava The Elephant |

On the first ever episode of Shark Tank, in August of 2009, Tiffany Krumins pitched her Emmy the Elephant medical device to help kids take oral medications. Naturally, Kevin O’Leary hated the idea and tore it to shreds. Turns out that Emmy was re-named Ava and Krummins went on to enjoy millions in sales. |
5. Season 2, Episode 2: First Defense Nasal Screen |

What?! Stickers for your nose? Yep. First Defense Nasal Screens promise to filter impurities from the air you breathe. At first glance, the sharks aren’t buying what Joe Moore is selling — that is, until he informs them of an $8 million contract he has pending. Moore recieves a $4 million offer from Robert Herjevic to buy the entire company and ultimately winds up with a blended royalty and equity deal from Kevin O’Leary, Mark Cuban and Daymond John. |

Mother, son duo Bobby and Judy Edwards appeared in Season 6 to talk how they’re “in the business to help you do your business”. Squatty Potty is a footstool that puts the users of western toilets in a squatting position for more a natural, healthier…well, movement. They secured a $350,000 investment from Lori Greiner and subsequent nationwide distribution at Bed Bath & Beyond. |
